Logotype Contest
In
the first Transnational mobility
in Copenhagen November 2018, the
rules for the logotype contest were set up as it follows.
1. The aim of the contest is the
creation of a logotype for the SoMeln project.
2. The winning logotype will be the official
image of the project and will be used in all official documents and all print,
digital, on line materials produced within the project framework.
3. The submitted proposal must be simple and
legible even when scaled down. It can be colour or black and white.
4. The logotype proposal can be made up of
text only, or an image suggestive of the theme of the project. In any case the
letters (abbreviation) SoMeln must be part of it.
5. The logotype should be to decide by the
creator which shape to be.
6. All students belonging to the partner
schools of the above mentioned project
can take part in the contest.
7. Each pupil can submit only one proposal.
8. The proposals must be submitted in a
digital high resolution jpeg format.
9. The contest will have two phases:
a. National phase.
b. International
phase.
10. In the national phase, each school will choose
the 3 best logotypes by 15th January 2019, which will pass on to the
international phase.
11. The selection panel of the national phase will
consist of Art/Technology teachers of each partner schools or a group of other
teachers chosen by the local coordinator of the project.
12. In the international phase the winning logotype
will be chosen by voting in Greece January 21st to January 27th
2019 among the partners. You can`t vote for your own country.
13. The coordinator of the project reserves the right to slightly modify the
winning logo, provided its visual identity remains unaltered.
14. The author of the winning logotype assigns all
ownership rights, including all intellectual property rights to the logo, to
the SoMeln partnership.
15. The winner of the contest will receive a
certificate and a prize to be decided by the selection panel.
16. The authors of all the works admitted to the
international phase will receive a participation certificate.
17. In each of the partner schools an exhibition of
the 15 logos admitted to the international phase will be shown.
18. The logo winners announcement and giving the
prize ceremony will be held during the SoMeln 2nd Project Meeting in
Estonia, which is taking place from May 6th to May 12th
2019.
19. The results of the contest will be published in
the website of the project and on the
Erasmus+ Notice Board of each partner school and school webpages. In the mobility in Heraklion on January 2019 each school presented 3-4 proposals for
the final phase of the logotype contest as it follows:
Denmark:
Finland:
Greece
Estonia
Catalonia
Each national coordinator had 3 points to
assign to the proposal or proposals that they loved the most and as they wanted
(for instance, 1 point per 3 different logos or 2 points for one logo and
another point for a second logo or for
example 3 points just for the same one logo). The only rule is that they can
not vote for their own logos. (Denmark can not vote for the Danish logos…)
In the mobility to Jõhvi (Estonia) on May 2019 the Winner Logotype will be presented.
